Terms of Service & Legal Notice

By visiting our site and/or purchasing products from Motor Grid, you engage in our "Service" and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions, including all additional policies referenced herein.

1. Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by, interpreted, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Western Australia (WA), Australia, and the Commonwealth of Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

2. Accuracy of Site Information & Trademark Notice

We endeavor to present accurate product descriptions, rolling load metrics, tile dimensions, and pricing. Independent Workshop Brand Notice: Motor Grid is an independent modular garage flooring and workshop hardware retailer. Motor Grid is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Swisstrax, RaceDeck, MotoFloor, Armor All, or Craftsman. Any comparative references are made strictly for functional specification, interlocking dimension standards (e.g., 400x400mm / 300x300mm), and load capacity clarity. Motor Grid reserves the right to correct any inadvertent inaccuracies at any time without prior notice.

3. Thermal Expansion, Substrate Preparation & Heavy Jack Stand Notice

Thermal Expansion & Installation Warning: High-impact polypropylene tiles naturally expand and contract with temperature fluctuations in uninsulated garages and intense Australian summer heat. Always leave a mandatory 10mm to 15mm expansion gap between the edge of your tile layout and all permanent walls, posts, or garage door tracks to prevent floor buckling or tenting. Point-Load Safety Advisory: While Motor Grid tiles support multi-tonne rolling vehicle loads, concentrated high-point loads—such as narrow steel hydraulic trolley jack wheels, heavy jack stands, or motorcycle kickstands—can indent or puncture plastic ribs if used directly on tile surfaces without a protective wood or metal distribution plate. Always place a solid plywood, steel, or rubber distribution plate under hydraulic jacks and jack stands. Motor Grid is not liable for floor buckling resulting from zero-clearance installations, or point-load indentation damage caused by unprotected steel jack stands.
